District One Tournament
Billy Rundle of the Coginchaug All Stars threw a no hitter to defeat the Pat Kidney All Stars 3-0 at Hubbard Park. Rundle struck out eight and walked one. Lou Vinci of Pat Kidney threw a four hitter. He walked two and struck out four.

The Moose All Stars defeated Jack Barry of Meriden 10-6 at Meriden. Vin Chester was the winning pitcher. He received relief help in the sixth from Ray Koscuk. Chester allowed five hits. He walked one and fanned two. Moose had two hits from Ray Koscuk. Vin Chester had a double.

The Moose All Stars were eliminated from the District One Tournament when the lost 2-1 in four innings to Rocky Hill. Rain in the top of the fifth put a halt to the qame. Frank Sena yielded a fourth inning with the bases loaded to send in the game winning run. Moose scored in the second on Corneroli's home run. Moose had other hits from Frank Sena and Ray Koscuk.
