Webmaster's Note:
- SORRY: Only have information on softball going back to when I started this website in 1997. Anyone who can help fill in the earlier years, please contact Little League. Thanks.
- 1950: Mother Nature and history foil plans for City Championship series. The Elks took the Pat Kidney League while in the Moose League, Staddle Hill and St. Sebastian each won a regular season round. They met in a three game playoff that took almost two weeks to complete due to rainy weather and Middletown's Tricentennial Celebration. Staddle Hill won the playdown series 2 games to 1, but by this late day (Sept. 18), it was decided cancel the City Series.
- 1953: No citywide tournaments are allowed per National Little League rules.
- 1954: No citywide tournaments are allowed per National Little League rules.
